Pastor Shirley Thomas

A nurse by profession, Pastor Shirley resigned in 1999 to fully commit herself to God’s calling alongside her husband. In 2003, she was brought back from the brink of death after a severe medication reaction caused Steven-Johnson Syndrome often called the “mother of all allergies.” As she lay on her deathbed, whispering, “Thank You, Jesus, for everything,” God spoke to her through a series of visions that birthed the Kids Ministry at NewJeevan Church and a school for underprivileged children. She walked out of the hospital completely healed, with her skin specialist testifying, "For skin to heal like this is a miracle."

Today, she leads Transformers Kids Church—a vibrant ministry where multiple leaders have been raised and mentored, and thousands of children have been transformed and are now living impactful lives.

Pastor Shirley is also a powerful prayer warrior, playing a key role in raising intercessors and inspiring women to walk boldly with the Lord.
